Juror Bush?
It seems that President Bush has been called for jury duty. Of course he won't be there and has called the courthouse for a postponement.
Two things come to mind:
1) Even if the courthouse wouldn't agree to postpone his jury service I don't think he'd be showing up. Apparently, the court wouldn't do anything about it either. "State District Judge Ralph Strother told the Waco Tribune-Herald he doesn't expect to send the sheriff out to bring the President in."
2) Do we even want Bush serving on a jury? Put aside the fact that this is Dubya, but should we really be permitting a person that already wields so much power over the government to serve on a jury? I would think that would be immediate cause for an appeal of any verdict.
